12 ANGRY MASCOTS

I came up 70 cents short at the donut shop this morning, paying in quarters.  And I was wearing sandals and torn pants in 36 degrees and rain.  Humiliating?  Darn tootin.  But to then see myself in my H&M suit, gracing the right margin of today’s amNY PMNY section as part of an article to promote our show this Thursday… well to be honest, it only served to underscore how pathetic I must have appeared to the pretty young polish thing behind the counter at Peter Pan, as she handed me my croissant egg and cheese and told me it was ok.  It was all going to be ok.
