12 ANGRY MASCOTS

Jets QB Erik Ainge will be given the reins on Thursday when he makes his Mascots debut.  Erik completed a storied college career in football-mad Knoxville as the University of Tennessee’s four-year starter, breaking Peyton Manning’s freshman year TD record and being named MVP of the Outback Bowl as a senior in 2008.  He’s yet to take a pro snap with the Jetropolitans, but trust us when we say this is Ainge you can believe in.
